Today, artificial intelligence is the next frontier, pushing the medium to a historic crossroads. These works blend contemporary technologies with the earliest photographic methods. By gathering historical fragments, they uncover insights from the collective consciousness within a vast ocean of data, giving physical form that reflects the specific moment in time. This process feels like going back in time to rediscover a promising small island on an old map, when photography was still a pure, solitary endeavour under the sun.
